Sue commenced her career working in retail automotive in 1987, before joining Nissan in 1992 to work in a variety of operational roles managing advertising, consumer research, brand development, product lifecycle marketing and events. Following a period working for Nissan in Europe, in 2000 she joined British Airways to manage global advertising and subsequently headed up mass consumer and leisure trade marketing for the business. She was a member of the senior management team responsible for re-engineering the airline’s pricing model to combat low cost competition across Europe.
In 2003, Sue set up her own consultancy working on marketing communications, pr, creative and research projects for a diverse range of client and agency businesses within many different sectors including automotive, public service, telecommunications and education.
Sue joined J.D. Power and Associates early in 2008, as European Automotive Director for the EMEA region. She was responsible for all automotive business and client service, with accountability for the senior research teams delivering large scale pan-European, sector level studies as well as proprietary automotive business.
Sue is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and her diverse interests, outside work, include motorsport, music, theatre and producing culinery creations with varying levels of success! Oh, and then there’s the socialising of course - when she’s not number one taxi-driver for her over-active family!
